View Full Version : How do I run vBDrupal on a hosting account with PHP as a CGI extension?

I get the same error as this guy from the vbulletin.org forums - http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showpost.php?p=785702&postcount=150 - when I first installed vBDrupal, ie, every time I hit submit I'd get a directory listing with php.cgi and php5.cgi in it, and a 'cgi-system' directory added to the URL. I've now disabled PHP running as a CGI extension and all is well, but wanted to know if this problem has been resolved for those who aren't able to switch as easily as I did?

Thanks!

This is funny. I am that guy, and I found this thread while looking to see if anyone has found a way around this issue. :)

I ran into the problem again tonight after having completely forgotten about it, while setting up a MediaWiki. Seems folks like us may be required to make a sacrifice somewhere.

Have you checked on drupal.org?

Have not done the "deep dive" just yet.
