hello,

there is currently no decent cms for Invision Power Board. there is the default packaged portal and bfarber has coded a portal but is not compatible with newer versions of IPB.

is there any possibility of making Drupal port over to IPB?

This will be something only Tamarian will be able to decide.

Might want to email him about this as this is a vB Drupal website.

It is possible, but I have never used IPB, and have no experience with it. This will require someone who knows IPB well, and Drupal, and willing to code it. Check on drupal.org, someone maybe considering it.
