Does organic groups module work with vbdrupal. Has anyone tried it yet?

I don't see why it wouldn't, but I can understand your concern as it is a rather complex module.
I suggest setting up a development install of vbDrupal and testing in there, or if you can't, I'll test it for you when i get some time.
