dragonslist.com uses special htaccess

i loved http://www.dragonslist.com/ 's URLs.
their URLs are pretty cool and i cant see "node/1" ...like URLs there.
also loved thier members blog names: dragonslist.com/blog/username

is it special htaccess or a special module?

that's done using URL aliases, it's a drupal feature. There's also a module "pathauto" that automatically creates the URL aliases for nodes
