Will Flexiblock (http://drupal.org/project/flexiblock) work with the default vbDrupal theme or only with PHPtemplate?

I'm running it with the default vbdrupal theme.
The only difference is you cannot create a new layout for each node using the vbdrupal theme.
BTW - I think flexiblock is fantastic.

Will there be a module specifically for vbdrupal that works like flexiblock.

None really, just download the drupal flexiblock for verion 4.6 and install according to its instructions.

It needs some effort if you want to give each flexinode type a different layout. By default they'll all look alike. But you could customize them.

Understood. Thanks to both of you for your help.

In some cases the existing flexinode module can cause issues for older versions of mysql.
The attached is a bit more mysql friendly.

what do you call "older"?
flexiblock is a must-have module if you want to custom-template your site, it's refdiculous that the backend only allows you to choose "left' and "right" rather then any user-set area.
