Earlier in the year, we gave our company site a complete makeover and - after successfully using vbDupal on the Officially Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Community Site (community.enemyterritory.com (http://community.enemyterritory.com) - decided to go with vbDrupal as our backend software. We're extremely happy with the flexibility and power available to us thanks to vbulletin and Drupal - a big kudos to the guys behind vbDrupal - you made our lives a lot easier. :) Anywho, enough rambling, here it is:

Feedback is welcome (currently trying to figure out how to best make the Views module display comments for the news items on the front page - if anyone has suggestions, they'd be greatly appreciated).

that's a fantastic looking site. I just wondered. how do you get the images on the far left of a forum area on the forum homepage?

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Individual forum images are actually standard functionality in vb now (as of 3.7 I think?). It's the 'Prefix for Forum Status Images' option when you go to edit a forum in the Forum Manager.

This is a beautifully done site. I have been considering vBDrupal for a Big Board community running on a Cloud/Grid configuration. What can you tell me regarding your site's performance following the installation of vBDrupal?

Thanks. :)
We've not had any performance problems on either website we're using it on, though on the busier one of the two we've got a separate database server to keep things moving even with thousands of concurrent users.

That's great to hear. We usually have around 300-500 concurrent users at peak. Did you convert your data to UTF-8 format? What tips/tricks do you have for those of us who want to optimize performance?
