Menu module quirks

I was trying to use the menu module to add a link to my vB forums and have that link reside prominently in my 'Navigation' block links. Unfortunately the links I create with this module are invisible regardless of where I place them. What's the best way to add links? Do I need to make a custom block?

That was a bug in a recent version of Drupal.

I'll dig up the fix and post it here.

Great. I thought I was doing something wrong and couldn't dig up anything on the Drupal site that looked like a fix. Thanks for the help.

I think I applied that fix to vbdrupal, so it's fixed up stream
