Well, I think I finally got the VBDrupal looking and acting the right way.
I also discovered some really great things that you can do with it.

I will also be attempting to integrate VBDrupal into an already heavily modified VBulletin, on the Tottent Trader Forums that I run also. This single database will run VBulletin/VBTT2.1.7/VBdrupal. I am looking forward to harnessing the power of the VBTT2.1.7 mods to VBulletin into a Drupal setup. I'm sure that it won't be turn-key, but it will be fun geting stuf to work.
All this on multiple servers on different continents. It should be educational.

Is there a way to intergrate vb/drupal with mediawiki? I dont want users to have to create accounts, and i'd really like the themes intergreated across it as well. that would be a *very* cool addition!

sorry to pull this thread out of the depths of hell, but I just wanted to say :

I am making a new site.
It's a test site, and the rest of my domains will follow if this works...

I have a vB 3.6 installed, and I will be setup up a develpment version of a tracker (torrent tracker) that integrated into vb 3.6.
My hopes are to be able to show tracker stats into articles within vbDrupal ..

In other words, users can have their blogs or whatever and share their favorite music and have the tracker stats right on their blog ..

I'm really excited about this ... but we still have to do much on the tracker and vb3.6 . Previous versions only worked on vB 3.0.7 ..

I'm just not sure wether to get the tracker going before (or after) vbDrupal ??

tracker is PHP based and uses vb DB.

Anyway, just looking forward to some serious stress to get everything going.

Yep, they speak different stuff, but it can be done .. I see you have found some info ...
I would even think of combining the two of them unless it's a straight forum and a basic wiki..

MediaWiki is very powerfull and a complete different beast altogether
