Hello,

I am trying to set up my vbdrupal site so that my staff can post their articles on the site, but I need them to be able to have permissions on comments so that they can disable them when posting the actual article or review to be posted on the website, so that a new thread isn't created in the news forum. How would I go about enabling the administer comments permission? It is not located in the access control section where most administrative permissions are located, and I don't see it anywhere in the vbulletin admincp.

Thanks in advance!

Just happened to come accross your thread.

Your staff will post articles on your site. Why would it be created in the news forum? If you are using your drupal site for comments you can disable those while you post.

If I'm understanding you correctly, then this is what you do:

1. go to administer in your drupal...
2. Access Control
3. Then go to Comment Modules

All of your permissions are here based on roles you've set up.

As far as it being posted on the news (Front Page), that's controlled during the post. But this is drupal, I'm not yet very familiar with vb. I'm still trying to understand drupal.

Hopefully I've helped. If you have any questions I can answer, feel free to post back.

Also, any time you add a new module, you have to update the permissions.

Well since this is vbdrupal, comments aren't done there, so there are no options for comments there. That's where I thought they would be too, and there's no option for this under vbdrupal settings in admincp either.
