I've been able to get the Table Manager (http://drupal.org/node/37339) module to work with vbDrupal. All that is necessary is to rename the 2 tables required as per the vbDrupal instructions: How to install modules (http://www.vbdrupal.org/forum/showthread.php?t=13&highlight=module)

dba works! I can backup tables easily via drupal now :) database maintence also works, at least for the drupal tables, I haven't used it on the vb ones :D

I have the following modules working (partially tested, but so far no odd behavior):

adsense
bad behavior
Amazon tools
filemanager + attachment mod
google sitemap
pathauto
spam module
spam surbl

Still in testing, but getting closer to a viable site... :)

Yep. I works fine on a 4.7.x install that I have running. Most modules that don't touch the user's data should work perfectly and without complaint on a vbDrupal 4.7.x site (can't speak for 4.6.x sites since that has a different codebase).
