Hi, I have just noticed on facebook that someone has posted a picture of the Aurora Borealis over Whalsay on Sunday night, my mum sadly has just been diagnosed with primary and secondary cancer, she so wanted to see the lights over Iceland, unbeknown to us (and thanks to Scotster) they can be seen in the Shetlands, my question is how often and when do they occur basically any info would be great, thank you for your time.
